INTUIT Update
A typical CD-ROM solution often comprises of a media timeline of information presented to the user through the use of images, video, animation, audio and text. Using INTUIT Update and the Internet, updates and changes to the CD-ROM's timeline can be seamlessly integrated. The compressed changes are downloaded to the users hard drive where the CD-ROM can then reference the new updates. If the Internet communications fail, the CD-ROM can re use the updates on the users hard drive and continue to keep the user up-to-date. Once the connection is re-established, the CDROM can check for any new changes and act appropriately.
INTUIT Construct
A standard CD-ROM can hold 650Mb of information. INTUIT Construct uses this feature to produce a regulating timeline of information. A CD-ROM (or perhaps even DVD ROM) is packed with information. 1000's of images, 100's of videos, 1,000,000 of words are stored. INTUIT Construct then downloads from the Internet a small text file that contains specific instructions. Using these instructions, the 'engine' can formulate the media data into an organised timeline relative to the situation.
INTUIT Response
Today, web counters and user statistics are common on most websites. But this does not necessarily apply to CD-ROM. until now! Using INTUIT Response, the users progress, timing, general statistics and any other personal information can be collected and then posted and stored on a secure web database. Any amount of information can be collected regarding the use of the CD-ROM. This database is made available as a website to anyone with appropriate access. The data can then be processed, online, into crucial statistics essential to the company.
Accompanying the INTUIT technology is a sophisticated array of intelligent programming to ensuring a smooth, hassle free use for the user. The technology has been developed such that many of the technical decisions are made for the user and that no expertise in information technology is required.
